The well-known actor Keke Palmer has been diving back into her music lately hitting us with dope records and poppin’ visuals! She is now working on an album and drops the first video single today featuring Quavo from Migos. In the video she shows off her moves and style while the duo gives us an island-flavored motivational anthem for the summer.

Q: What inspired the overall single with Quavo and the vision behind this dope new video?

Keke Palmer: “QUAVO WAS THERE IN THE STUDIO WITH ME WHEN THE RECORD WAS BEING CURATED AND HE WAS JUST LOVING WHERE IT WAS GOING AND WANTED TO HOP ON. I HAVE A LOT OF RESPECT FOR HIS ARTISTRY AND I WAS GLAD HE FELT THE SAME ENOUGH TO WANT TO FEATURE. THE VISUAL CAME TO ME IN A VISION LIKE MOST OF MY VISUALS AND SINCE BROADWAY I AWAYS SAW MY TOUR OR SHOWS IN GENERAL, AS A MUSICAL PIECE, THAT TELLS THE MAKING OF KEKE PALMER THE ENTERTAINER.”

Q: What do you hope your fans and viewers take from this hot new summer single?

A: “THAT THEY CAN DO ANYTHING BECAUSE I AM JUST A LITTLE GIRL FROM ROBBINS ILLINOIS THAT NEVER STOPPED BELIEVING IN HER DREAMS. THATS ALL I DID.”

Q: Will you be performing on any award shows or concerts this summer debuting this single?

A: “WE SHALL SEE :)”

Q: Are there anymore special collaborations we should look out for?- who are you looking to work with next?

A: “I’LL KEEP YOU POSTED! Or  I WOULD LOVE TO WORK WITH CHANCE.”

Q:Tell us more about your plans with this upcoming album of yours and the release?

A: “YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE, BUT WHAT I CAN TELL YOU IS YOU WILL BE GETTING NON STOP MUSIC FROM ME THIS SUMMER!!”
